Legend of the clouds

Once there was a young man called Ronald.
He lived in a forest near Mizik with his family.
He loved hunting and he hunted animals every day.

As the year went by, Ronald got stronger and braver.
He caught the thieves and helped the poor.
Everybody liked him and he became the hero of the forest.
One day, the people found that the sky was covered with
clouds, and there was no sunlight on the ground.
They had no idea about what happened. Suddenly,
a horror voice appeared: "Ha ha! Stupid people!
You will die without sunlight and I will be the king of
the Earth!  Everybody was frightened, they asked Ronald
for help. Kay decided to kill the devil, and he found a good
idea. He started to make a golden bow and some silver
arrows. After an hour, he finished and walked to the garden.
As he thought, there were so many clouds and he could
not see the sun. He wasn't afraid. He took out his golden
bow and silver arrows, and shot it to the sky. After a few
shots, most of the clouds were gone and they could see
the sun. The horror voice disappeared and never appeared
again.
Today, there is only a few clouds in the sky. Sometimes,

the cloud covers the sky and it starts to rain. But,
when the rain stops, you can see the rainbow in the sky,
because the silver arrow stops the rain and it becomes
colourful.

Natural Phenomenon - Clouds

This week we are doing myths & legends.

We are doing it about Natural Phenomenon and we had to pick something that we didn't know about and I picked clouds because I wanted to know how they were formed and I found out a really good fact about how they were made. And they are made from hot warm air and cold air and they mix and form a white fluffy thing in the air which is called a cloud. This is the slide I made about how clouds are formed & on the 3 page there is a video on clouds changing through the day!!

To the south, shantytown heritage park is a re-created  gold rush town with a museum
and steam train. North of Greymouth, The point Elizabeth walkway winds along coastal
cliff tops to the forests of Rapahoe Scenic reserve, home to abundant birdlife.

Term 1 Week 5

This week we have been doing all sorts of stuff like - topic , art , literacy , Maths. My main focus is topic and for topic we have to do all about me and we got set task to finish and there was about 10 actives and the actives that I have done for the past 3 weeks are - Personal profile - Different meanings of our names - Family Descriptions but we had to do 2 of them - Family Tree - we had to do a timeline from birth to now - And there are a lot more that we have to do.

PrEp 2018

This week we have been doing PrEP.
The people in my group are Myself Aniya Mia & Caysey
The items we are making are 1. Jars With ribbon around the top and with an old book around the jar and it has a shape of a love heart around it.
2. Dream catchers made with a bottle with string and feathers.
Why we picked them ?
We picked these items because we thought they were going to be a effective and we hope the dream catchers are going to work.
I'm The CEO in the group and Aniya is the Co CEO when i'm not here aniya is the CEO.

We will be open at the big market on Friday next week I hope you come along and have a look at our items that we have made.

Tie Dye 2018

Last Week We Did Tie Dying with T-shirts And Miss Hines Gave Us An option On What Design We Wanted To Do. I Picked Spiral Because I Liked The Way It Looked On An Image So I Tried It Out And I Thought It Wouldn't Turn Out The Way I Wanted It To Be. So I Tried The Colors Blue Pink And Purple. Then The Next Day Miss Hines Took It Out Of The Plastic Bag And Washed It And It Turned Out Pretty Good I Guess. Lots Of People In The Class Like My Tie Dye T-shirt & The Way It Turned Out :) This Tie Dye T-shirt Will Be At The Soiree Tonight At Greymain School.

Fake Facebook Page 2018

This is my fake Facebook page. T2 had to make a fake Facebook page for the boy in the stripped pyjamas, we had to pick a character for the google drawing, I picked Bruno he is the main character in the boy in the stripped pyjamas, first you had to pick two characters from the boy in the stripped pyjamas & you had to pick two characters from a another book and one famous person & a friend from school. Beeswax

Bess Wax:

Don’t eat beeswax it needs to be turned into
a yellow color and so it doesn't have
dirt in it beeswax is honeycomb but it has been
scraped off the top.
When the set the honey and cover it then it will be
smooth and clean the take all the clappings off and
then let it sit and then the scarp all the hexagons off
and then they squeeze it when it gets melted down
it will turn in to like a blox. The clean honey smells
just like normal honey you get hot water and then
when the water gets hot you put the honey in it and then it melts. How do bees get the wax?

The bees get pollen and nectar and other bees eat it
and then vomit it and they keep doing it and they
put it in one of these hexagon things and then they
fill it until its full. You have to wait for the honey to
be finished. When its finished they grab the cheese
thing and then they put it over a ice cream container
and then they put the bees wax in it and then some
of it will melt through and some will set on the cheese cloth. The world would survive 4 years without bees.

Shanty Town Wk7 Term 4

Yesterday we went to Shanty Town and I went with M1 year 6 and all of M2 and all of the year 5 went with M3 and what we first did is we got to know the rules and then we had to get dressed into the dresses and we also had to go on the train and we had to hold a boys hand to get up onto the train it was probably the best day all term!!!

Term 1 Week 4 Electronics

Electronics 
This week we had to do Electronics with Andrew. We put a LED light that lights up if it is the right way into a circuit board. On the circuit board there is a lot of dots on one side then on the other side there is a + sign. The longest side of the light has to be on the side where the + sign is. Here are some photos of Mamaku 1 doing Electronics.

Last year when we had to do Electronics some people got to make robots. This year people in our class we have people from syndicate 2. This is a new thing for them this week and it is pretty cool for them because they get to know new things about Electronics.

This week we have been doing topic and we have been doing water safety for topic and I have done Me Ako koe Ki Te Kauhoe it mean learn to swim and survive and when your are in the water always have a life jacket in a any kind of boat and never leave your child in the bath alone with out a adult and it is the same in a public swimming pool.
