This week we had to do Monarch Butterflie Diagram and we had to get a photo of it and we had to talk about it as well and we had to put it on our blog.
This week we had to do our spelling words and we had to do sentences and we had to do our slide each week have to do spelling lists.

WALT: Create a poster to persuade others to read a book
This week we had to make a google drawing about a book. We had to make a poster that would make people want to read books from our school library. I think this book is funny and it has a lot of drama in it. You should read it!

KVL Chart
WALT: Use what we already know to make sense of what we read.
This week we had to read a book about Kereru (Wood Pigeon) Before we read about the book we had to write what we already know about this topic and what Vocabulary related to the topic we thought we might find when we read the book. After we read the book we added any new vocab and what we learnt from the text. Then we read a book about Monarch butterflies.

I think doing the KVL chart helped me get the information from the book because it made me think about what I was reading.
